Fresh offerings from S.Cafe-maker Singtex

Singtex, the Taiwanese manufacturer behind coffee-based fabric S.Cafe, has added new products to its stable.

At Taiwan-based textile fair Titas (October 15 to 17) it launched Sefia, a viscose fabric made in cooperation with Formosa. Blended with spandex, the coffee adds an odour control function to the material, the culmination of two years of development between the two groups.

It has also launched P4Dry, a print layer made with the coffee grounds that is fast drying and adds odour control.

Singtex – a supplier to brands including the North Face and Timberland – uses coffee beans collected from 7-Eleven stores and Starbucks across Taiwan.
