Taiwan Textile Research Institute gears up for TITAS

05/10/2015

Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI) has announced its stand at the upcoming Taipei-based textile show TITAS will feature new photoelectric smart textiles and LED active warning clothing.

It will display the research and development achievements of its member companies, including breathable and waterproof membranes, seamless sports apparel, biomimetic smart clothing and graphene-based products.

Its members are also working on waterless dyeing and finishing services, and an “intelligent” energy-conserving drying system.

The TTRI also operates an integration system for textiles, which it says can provide a customized e-manufacturing supply chain system to control production.

TITAS takes place between October 19 and 21.
