S-Café in new Nike golf jacket

“Baggy, bigger and bulky used to be the standard go-to for outerwear on the golf course,” the company said on announcing the new jacket, insisting that it had eliminated extra fabric, and with it, the “noisy, distracting swings” that many golfers associate with outerwear.
The Hyperadapt Wind is a lighter version of the already released Hyperadapt Storm-FIT jacket and features the same four-way stretch technology and “sweater-like feel”, Nike said. It is windproof and rain-resistant enough to be suitable for spring golf. The windproof coating on the outer shell contains Singtex’s S-Café, made using recycled coffee grounds helping to increase the sustainability of the jacket, reduce odour from perspiration and assist in UV protection.
“It’s designed to fit and move with your body,” said Merritt Richardson, the company’s global vice-president for golf apparel. “The four-way stretch laminate through the back, shoulders and upper arms maximises range of motion and eliminates distractions. The lightweight outer shell provides superior protection from the elements for all-day performance and comfort on the course.”
