Members of the wool industry will gather in Brussels at the start of December to share scientific data and technical expertise, with the aim of making wool production more sustainable.

Legislators, regulators, NGOs and wool industry leaders will gather at a multi stakeholder meeting, ‘From Sheep to Shop’, on December 1, and again at the annual Wool Round Table on December 2.

This year's discussions will focus on international trade, with an emphasis the Transpacific Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and its impact on wool textile trade.

The use of wool in fire safety and protection, including standards for protective clothing, will be discussed as well as the opportunities for wool in technical textiles.
