Organisers call for manuscripts for textile symposiums
Experts wishing to take part in the Techtextil or Avantex symposiums in Frankfurt next year are being invited to submit manuscripts for consideration.
Organisers say that demand and expectations for technical textiles and functional apparel textiles are growing, which means there is a need for active cross-sector dialogue.
The aim of both symposiums is to boost interdisciplinary communication and to disseminate information about the latest developments and potential applications.
The Techtextil Symposium revolves around developments, trends and potential applications covering technical textiles and non-wovens, via technology and finishing, to new products. Particular attention will be paid to lightweight constructions, sustainability and functionality.
The Avantex Symposium offers information about materials, trends and new products, with the focus this year on functionality and protection.
The symposiums will take place from June 11 to 13 and the deadline for lecture applications is October 31, 2012.
