Reports in Australia suggest the founders and owners of Melbourne-baed surfwear brand Rip Curl are thinking of selling.

Fouded more than 40 years ago, the brand’s owners, Doug Warbrick and Brian Singer, are reported to have received unsolicited approaches to sell up and there are suggestions that they are already contemplating accepting a bid of more than $500 million.
