D3O grows team to support developments in sport and shoes

Specialist impact protection technology provider D3O has made two appointments to its head office team in Brighton to support its growth in sports and footwear.

D3O markets a patented technology, which is used to produce a soft and flexible material with high shock-absorbing properties. Partner brands include Scott Sports, Head Tennis, Burton, All Stars and SixSixOne.

Toby Glyn joins the company after 12 years at adidas and will concentrate on new athletic footwear solutions for D3O’s materials. Marcus Illingworth has extensive experience in sales for sports apparel, footwear and equipment for brands including Pringle of Scotland, OGIO and Gemwell.
