Successful debut for Italian coated fabric producer

17/10/2012
Coronet Spa an Italian producer of coated fabrics, exhibited at Première Vision in Paris for the first time in its 40-year history this autumn.

Fabrics on display at the Paris event included GOSTOP, which the company’s more recently launched apparel division, Coronet Innovation, developed for breathable water-resistant applications. The name comes from the idea that air can go through, but the fabric will stop water from penetrating. Coronet has developed GOSTOP hangtags for finished garments.

Its autumn-winter 2013-2014 collection is called Innovation with Conservation. The company says it gives a modern twist to classics such as wool, cotton, flannel, tweed and knits, using resins and coatings to give them enhanced technical properties.
