Quiksilver revamps management

Nicholas Drake joins from advertising agency TBWA/Chiat/Day and previously worked in the marketing division of adidas.
Quiksilver CEO Andy Mooney said: “We have reorganised our senior management structure in order to centralise key functions and responsibilities across the organisation. We recently named global heads of apparel, footwear and supply chain, and, with the appointment of Nick Drake, we have added a creative and talented executive to lead our global marketing efforts.”
The company also named Steve Finney as head of retail and ecommerce for North America and John Graham as senior vice-president of wholesale sales for North America. Mr Finney most recently served as senior vice-president of global business development for Walt Disney, and Mr Graham was senior vice-president for commerce at Easton Bell Sports. Mr Graham has also worked as commercial director for Nike Action Sports.
Mr Mooney added: “We have substantially completed our efforts to form a new leadership team, with world-class expertise.”
Earlier this month, the company announced an “aggressive multi-year profit improvement plan” which it says will improve earnings by $150 million by 2016.
