Five improvements in Vibram’s latest sole
02/07/2013
The Vybrid has five innovations areas: in the toes, forefoot, waist, heel and midsole.
Individual toe pockets allow the foot to move with limited restriction; a slight drop from the forefoot helps the toes grip and flex; a semi-rigid anatomical shank helps support the arch; a more pronounced heel protects and supports the foot; and a thin and soft EVA distributes force on impact.
The Vybrid sole has been developed with Vibram rubber for maximum grip, top performance and durability.
The Vybrid is available in four colours and is made in breathable mesh and 3M material for visibility at night, with a neoprene sock that improves the foot’s stability and traction on the heel.
