Alpaca-based baselayer brand to debut at Outdoor Retailer

A new brand of baselayers made with alpaca fibre blends is to launch at Outdoor Retailer Summer show at the end of this month.

US-based Komafram blends Tencel cellulosic fibres to offer moisture management and thermal regulation, breathability and odour resistance.

The company is hoping to appeal to “eco-conscious consumers” and its first range includes baselayers in a variety of weights and several styles of performance socks.

Outdoor Retailer Summer Market Show will be held in Salt Lake City, US, from July 31 to August 3.
