Andy Rubin, CEO of Pentland Brands, Berghaus' owner, added: “Richard joined Pentland in 2003, initially as managing director for Brasher and then became president of Berghaus. Over the last seven years, Richard has led the development of the brand into a truly global player with Berghaus now operating in 48 countries.”
Pentland said Berghaus delivered a strong performance when it reported its 2012 results in June. The group saw revenues rise 14.2% to £1.74 billion.
