50,000 visitors at ShanghaiTex

Organisers of textile machinery exhibition ShanghaiTex have described the latest edition as a success after more than 50,000 visitors attended the event in China.

The four-day show recorded 53,183 local and overseas trade visitors and buyers from 79 countries with Korea, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Pakistan well-represented.

Forums included the Latest Textile Technology, the 2014-2015 Sportswear Design & Trends, and Waterless Dyeing & Transfer Printing Technology.

Printing, knitting and digital printing machinery as well as equipment with environmentally friendly and automatic features garnered the most attention, said organisers.
