Taiwan’s Chia Heir outlines new products

Taiwanese textile manufacturer Chia Heir is to present a series of fabrics for sportswear at the Titas textile event in October.

Act Extreme for outdoor apparel features breathable, wicking and UV protection; Feel Free offers attributes including absorbency and repellency; the In Style range features anti-wrinkle and repellency properties; and Go Green uses materials such as recycled PET, Tencel, Modal and Apexa, an advanced co-polyester resin.

The company is a research and development-oriented and vertically integrated textile manufacturer that specialises in wool spinning, cotton spinning, yarn twisting, weaving, dyeing and finishing, coating and laminating, and special finishing.

It has attained GOTS certification for processes including spinning, dyeing, weaving and finishing as well as OE certificate, GRS and Oeko-Tex standard 100. It has also been awarded Taiwan’s official Green Mark and is in compliance with ISO:14064 Greenhouse Gas emission standard.
