Concept III and Dry-Tex want to “change the look of soft shells”

10/09/2013
Textile resource and garment production specialist Concept III has joined forces with Chinese manufacturer Dry-Tex to develop “next generation of soft shells”.

Working with Dry-Tex, a specialist in ultra lightweight laminations, Concept III has said it is now able to present “a nearly endless array of creative two-and three-layer performance textile packages” to the market.

Customers at the Dry-Tex facilities in Shaoxing near Shanghai are able to create their own multi-layer fabrics, choosing from a multitude of locally sourced textiles and technologies. They can also supply their own, specify others or develop their own with the help of Concept III. Whatever ideas customers come up with, Dry-Tex is able to turn them quickly into flexible two-layer and three-layer laminations.

“I would describe Dry-Tex as aggressive, technically-driven, nimble and price-competitive,” says Chris Parkes, Concept III partner and director of sales. “Everyone who works with them is impressed. They do what they say they are going to do and they do it quickly.”

Customers will be able to view new Dry-Tex soft laminations at Performance Days in Munich, from November 19-20.
