Fresh performance textile offerings from Concept III
13/06/2014
Looking ahead to the next generation of soft shells, Concept III and DRY-TEX - a new China-based company that specialises in ultra-lightweight laminations - are presenting creative two-and three-layer performance textile “packages”. Besides their technical virtues, the key to these collaborations is their suppleness and light weight.
Though merino and merino blend knits are fast becoming an essential basic in outdoor lines, innovation in performance and aesthetics are critical for consumer appeal. Located in Melbourne and Shanghai, ABMT delivers creative performance Merino knits and its products will be on display at the Concept III stand. The company is proud of its record in significantly lowering the environmental impact normally associated with textile manufacturing and also of its use of sustainable products.
High pile, sherpas and faux furs are returning to outdoor. Concept III works with Nice Gain in China and Glenoit, owned by Monterey Mills in the US, and will present new surface textures and technical fibres from these companies.
