Concept III celebrates Korean partner’s bluesign success

Textile resource and garment production specialist Concept III has announced that one of its Korean partners, ultra-soft high pile maker Daejin, has achieved bluesign accreditation.

Switzerland-based bluesign Technologies, AG, is a consortium dedicated to promoting and facilitating environmentally sustainable, toxin-free textile production. With the support of Concept III, Daejin has now passed the stringent bluesign requirements.

Concept III said on making the announcement that it will continue to push all its performance textile partners towards “eco-compatibility”.

“This is an important step in securing the trust of our customers in the Daejin company and the textiles it produces,” said Concept III director of sales, Chris Parkes, at the time of the announcement. “All outdoor apparel brands and their customers today place a high priority on, and share a sincere regard for, the environment.”
