Rieter to establish new India training centre
Switzerland-based textile machinery group Rieter is to set up a new spinning and training centre at the DKTE Textile College in Rajwada, India. The centre will be used to conduct trials and train staff from Indian spinning mills. It will also offer technical training for those who are just starting out in the textile industry.
The latest Rieter technology will be in place at the facility, and experienced staff will be on hand to answer technical queries.
“DKTE enjoys the strong support of the textile industry and corporate houses and will function as a showcase for the versatility and flexibility of Rieter spinning machines to spin different products,” said a statement from the textile machinery manufacturer and systems supplier.
“With this cooperation, Rieter will be making a substantial contribution to hands-on training for youngsters in the textile branch in India. Well-founded theoretical and practical tuition at DKTE will optimally prepare students for playing a key role in managing spinning plants.”
