Gerber Technology is in the process of launching its latest software and manufacturing solutions at the China International Sewing Machinery & Accessories (CISMA) show in Shanghai, which runs from September 25-28.

The company will present its latest computer-controlled material cutting and spreading systems, AccuMark pattern design, grading and marking software, AccuScan pattern digitising software, 3D pattern draping software, AccuNest automated marker making software and CutWorks cutting optimisation software.

Visitors to CISMA will also witness the latest release of the company’s YuniquePLM product lifecycle management system. It offers enhanced integration with Adobe Illustrator, dynamic line creation capabilities, sourcing and compliance tracking, as well as powerful “what if” scenarios, which enable teams to determine if a product will meet profitability expectations before designers start sketching.

Steve Park, vice-president and general manager of Gerber’s sewn goods business, says: “Visitors will see several groundbreaking solutions to help them optimise their workflow from the design room through the cutting room, to maximise productivity and ensure quality.

“We’ve focused on making our systems the easiest to use and have incorporated advanced technologies that maximise system uptime and ensure parts are cut precisely the first time, every time. We also provide managers with the data they need to continuously improve their cutting operation.”

Mike Elia, president and CEO of Gerber, adds: “We’ve sold more than 10,000 cutters and more than 44,000 AccuMark licenses over the years, but we don’t just sell cutters and CAD software.

“Gerber employs more than 300 certified service and support experts who serve 25,000 customers in 130 countries across the globe. And, that doesn’t even include the service professionals employed by our nearly 70 agents and distributors.

“Our service experts genuinely care about their customers. They know how to apply their years of experience and knowledge to help customers maximise the return they get from their investments in our automation solutions."
