Senior appointment at Gerber

Apparel industry-focused machinery and software provider Gerber Technology has named Karsten Newbury as vice-president and general manager of its Software Solutions arm.

Mike Ella, CEO of Gerber, said: “Software is critical to everything we do, and is vital in assisting our customers’ efforts to create and produce beautiful products and to make better decisions. Karsten’s understanding of the integrated marketplace, combined with his global vision for software systems and solutions, will enable him to draw upon all our technologies and applications and solve many of the workflow challenges our customers face."

Gerber’s AccuMark CAD systems are used by over 14,000 customers.
