The Teijin Group is to participate at Fire India for the first time this year. Fire India 2013 will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from October 24 to 26.

The Teijin booth will feature high-performance protective apparel solutions incorporating the group’s proprietary aramid fibres, including a firefighter suit and a flame-retardant work uniform made with Teijinconex, a heat-resistant, flame-retardant meta-aramid fibre, and with Technora, a high-strength para-aramid fibre.

The Japanese firm will also exhibit protective gloves made with Twaron, a para-aramid fibre offering high resistance to heat and cutting.

The company will also present a newly developed meta-aramid fibre that combines heat resistance with excellent dyeability.
