Breathable Montane jacket features Neoshell
UK-based Montane’s new Fast Alpine Stretch Neo jacket for men features Polartec’s Neoshell fabric. The jacket is designed for fast-paced, technical climbing where breathability and weather protection are required.
The Neoshell technology provides excellent breathability and the jacket, which is designed to blur the line between a hard and a soft shell, can be worn comfortably during heavy athletic exertion such as ice climbing or ski mountaineering. It offers weather protection, moisture regulation and two-way air exchange for increased airflow during high activity levels.
The jacket features a Pertex snow skirt, a technical climbing helmet hood, hem cordlocks and an active, technical fit to accommodate cold weather layering. It uses the company’s Bonded Diamond Face fabric at the shoulders and forearms to protect against rock abrasion, rucksack strap friction and damage from shoulder-hooked ice axes.
