Adidas announces end of the road for SLVR range

Launched at the start of 2009, SLVR sold footwear, clothing and accessories for women and men. The dedicated SLVR store in Berlin will now become an adidas “trend store”, while the one in Miami will be re-modeled into an adidas by Stella McCartney store. There is a third SLVR store, in New York, but the least runs out at the end of 2013.
At the higher end of the market, adidas will concentrate on its collaboration projects with specific designers, including Ms McCartney.
The statement said: “Starting in spring 2014, adidas will come up with a new approach for sophisticated sportswear under its Sport Style sub-brand.”
