Stella McCartney ‘thrilled’ to design Team GB kit

Following the success of Team GB’s kit at the 2012 Olympics – “the most successful Olympic range ever” – Stella McCartney has been brought back on board as creative director for the adidas Team GB Rio Olympics kit.

The design process began 18 months ago and will be unveiled next April, with adidas updating the kit with “yet to be launched innovations”.

Stella McCartney said: "I am thrilled to be back with adidas. It is a great honour to work with our great athletes again to make them proud of the designs we are creating for them.''
