Hohenstein honours Willy Bogner

Research body the Hohenstein Institute has presented Willy Bogner, owner of the sports fashion company of the same name, with the Otto Mecheels medal for service to and innovation in the textile industry.

Professor Stefan Mecheels, director of the Hohenstein Institute, made the presentation. Willy Bogner was a student at the institute in the 1960s, before going to work in the sports company his father founded in Munich in 1932.
