Keen hands out “responsible outdoor participation” grants

Outdoor footwear brand Keen has awarded grants totalling $100,000 to 25 different organisations around the world as part of a programme called Keen Effect, which aims to support projects that inspire “responsible outdoor participation”.

In its inaugural year, the Keen Effect received more than 600 applications from 14 countries across the globe. Winners received sums ranging from $2,500 to $10,000.
