Textile chemicals manufacturer DyStar has published its third annual sustainability report, showing its progress during 2012.

Some key points include the company’s reduction of its greenhouse gas emissions by 13%, a step towards its internal target of a 20% reduction by 2020.

Dr Charu Jain, DyStar’s global sustainability manager, said: “Firstly, we reduced our own impact by being responsible in the use of resources. Secondly, while delivering the best quality products to our customers, we assisted them in decreasing their own environmental and social footprint through the use of clean, safe and efficient products.”
