In an effort to boost India’s cotton exports to Vietnam, which are reportedly well below the global average, the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council of India organised a trade delegation to the country which included tours of factories and textile mills.

Vietnam exported $77 million worth of garments and fabrics to India in 2013, a year-on-year increase of 38%, and imported $419 million of materials and fibre, up 46%.
