Leap for Vietnam’s textile exports

15/05/2014
Vietnam’s exports of textiles and apparel grew 20% in the first four months of the year to $5.9 billion, according to the country’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Around half of the orders came from the US, with Europe, South Korea and Japan making up most of the rest.

The sector is benefitting from the perceived advantages that could be introduced with the signing of the Trans Pacific Partnership.
