Archroma, the former textile business of Clariant, has said it will highlight “breakthrough opportunities for sustainable textile manufacture” at the China Interdye event, which will take place from April 16-18 in Shanghai.

One of the ideas Archroma will present is its One Way service, designed to help customers meet their sustainability targets in a fast and reliable manner. It is a three-step systematic approach to choosing chemicals and production processes.

Also on show will be Advanced Denim, aimed at developing new technologies for colour and material effects, while reducing the impact of denim manufacturing on the environment. Archroma claims the technology can reduce water consumption by up to 92%, reduce cotton waste by up to 63%, and reduce energy costs by up to 30% compared to traditional denim processes.
