Footwear brand Munich has its eyes on Asia

Spanish sports footwear brand Munich has opened its first two stores in China and has said it expects to have seven in total before the end of this year.

Next year, it expects to open 20 further outlets in China.

As part of a wider expansion in Asia, Munich has also opened stores in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. The company has said it wants to achieve growth in Asia in part to compensate for sluggish markets in Europe.
