Gildan announces shapewear acquisition

The company said it would pay an initial sum of just over $1 million with possible additional payments of more than $9 million based on sales and growth.
Doris brands include Secret, which is most famous for pantyhose, but is a growing brand for shapewear in Canada. Other brands that have attracted Gildan are the Silks and TherapyPlus brands, which provide therapeutic legwear for medical conditions and everyday activities.
