Kenya could be of interest to Li & Fung

Kenyan government officials have hosted a visit to the country by major clothing sourcing firm Li & Fung.

Reports say that Li & Fung may now become one of the first companies to set up at a proposed Textile City to be located in the export processing zone complex in Athi River, near Nairobi.

Li & Fung already has African operations, in Egypt, Mauritius, Madagascar, Morocco and South Africa.
