Reports from Indonesia suggest the government there is investigating the possibility of imposing anti-dumping measures on imports of yarn.

Government sources have said the focus would be on imports of yarn from China, South Korea, Malaysia, India, Taiwan and Thailand, with duties of up to 17.45%. The plan is to make Indonesian textile manufacturers less dependent on imported raw material and to use more Indonesian yarn instead.
