MADE-BY launches two supply chain tools

The MADE-BY Wet Processing Benchmark uses data from factories to illustrate the sustainability of wet processing in terms of water use, energy use and potential chemical or safety hazards.
Created in collaboration with software developer Sustainable Solution, the benchmark can serve as a guide and enable product developers to “have meaningful conversations” with their suppliers, said the company.
MODE Tracker uses a brand’s systems and standards as inputs and verifies the information against expert-reviewed metrics. It provides an overview of the brand’s sustainability engagement and communicates year-on-year improvements.
Founded in 2004, MADE-BY’s mission is to ‘make sustainable fashion common practice’ and has offices in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
