Ortovox offers its equipment for safety training at Austrian resort

The Germany-based brand will set up a new training park at the resort’s Gamsgarten cable car station and three checkpoints in the area. At the same time, an Intersports shop at Eisgrat on the Stubai Glacier has become an official Ortovox test centre.
At the training park, interested parties can practise searching for avalanche victims with avalanche transceivers and probes, free of charge. The appropriate emergency equipment is available for hire at the Intersport stores at Eisgrat and Gamsgarten. The three checkpoints will monitor the function of avalanche transceivers and help raise awareness of the danger of avalanches.
