Italian yarn and chemicals group Radici has received a Product Stewardship Award from Federchimica, the Italian Chemical Federation.

Federchimica bestows this award on member companies that show high levels of commitment to responsible product management. It gave the award to the Radici Group in mid-December 2014.

In particular, the Radici Group won recognition for testing and adopting organisation environmental footprint (OEF) and product environmental footprint (PEF) methodology for calculating and communicating the environmental performance of products at its Radici Chimica SpA production site in Novara in northern Italy.

“We are proud of the award,” said Paolo Radici, member of the group’s board of directors. “This recognition will inspire us to pursue our sustainability objectives through concrete actions, with even greater determination and perseverance.”
