TenCate’s tent fabric surprise

Dutch fabric manufacturer TenCate has reached an agreement to brighten up future camping seasons for outdoor enthusiasts.

In addition to supplying its Residential tent fabric, which consists of a blend of polyester fibres and moisture-regulating polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibres, TenCate has said will now be able to use digital printing techniques to make tents more colourful and characterful.

Specialist Dutch camping holiday company Rent-a-Tent is one of the first customer to express an interest in the new options for Residential, using the fabric to make bungalow tents depicting typical Dutch scenes such as windmills and tulip fields for display at the Vakantieburs holiday trade fair in Utrecht in early January.
