TenCate appoints new CEO

Specialist Dutch textile technology provider TenCate has appointed Jan Albers as its new Chief Executive Officer.

The appointment was made at a meeting of TenCate’s shareholders in Almelo, Netherlands on August 25.

Mr Albers has stepped down as chairman of the company’s supervisory board to assume his new position. He has been replaced by Boudewijn Molenaar.

TenCate also announced the addition of Fred van Houten to its supervisory board. He is a professor of Design Engineering at the University of Twente.
