TenCate to sell technical textile ink business

Sensient Imaging Technologies, a supplier of inks for digital textile and sublimation printing, has signed agreements with Dutch firm TenCate to buy Xennia Technology.

In recent years Xennia Technology has concentrated on developing inks for various niche applications, with the textile industry one of its main areas of focus.

Xennia’s digital textile inks can be used to print on silk, polyamide, nylon and elastane fabrics. Sports and swimwear are among its principal target applications.
