Movement is the key in new fabric collection from Burlington

North Carolina-based textile manufacturer Burlington has added Micromove to its range of products. The new collection, constructed with the company’s own fibre and finish technologies, comprises fabrics that emulate the movement of the human body, allowing high levels of flex and stretch as the wearer moves.

Burlington said at the time of the launch that the fibre and finish technologies it has used in Micromove provide “soft, light-weight drapable fabrics” with two and four-way stretch for a wide range of motion “that is critical before, during, and after sport”.

“Designed for the active lifestyle, these fabrics move with you from the start of your day to the finish,” said Burlington’s vice-president for activewear, Nelson Bebo. “The Micromove collection brings a new element to performance and comfort for the active individual.”
