Preliminary results show good growth for adidas and Reebok

23/01/2015
Based on preliminary unaudited figures for 2014, adidas has said sales increased across the group by 2% last year in euro terms to reach €14.8 billion.

From this, the group achieved earnings of €650 million, although this does not take into account some impairment losses and some expenses relating to its divestiture last year of the Rockport footwear brand.

Growth for the adidas brand was 11%, the company said, while Reebok recorded its seventh consecutive quarter of growth and ended the year with a sales increase of 5%.

It will issue final full-year results on March 5.
