The Auric helmet is light and well ventilated with an ABS shell lined with multi-impact foam (EPP), with increased protection at the temples and ears.
The Fovea mask, made with polyurethane, remains flexible at low temperatures.
Mr Blunck added: "The Auric helmet is a totally new kind. When I saw the finished product, my first thought was 'Wow, I have never seen such a helmet'. Then in my first test of the helmet and mask, I received very good feedback from other athletes."
