Carvico puts new fabrics on show at ISPO

Italian fabric producer Carvico introduced a new collection of fabrics for sportswear and outerwear at ISPO in Munich (February 5-8).

Cortina and Everest are the names the company has given to new bonded fabrics that have brushed fabric on one side for warmth and comfort and a high-tech, water-repellent fabric on the other for defence agains the weather.

Fabrics named Dubai and Tokyo were also on display at ISPO, which Carvico said were ideal for the creation of garments that can support and protect muscles during sport activities, without making the body feel constrained. Made from two layers of the same fabric, they are soft and comfortable and are suitable for use in ready-to-wear collections as well as in sports apparel, the company added.
