Sports brand adidas has said it sourced more than 30% of all cotton used in its supply chain last year from members of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), the Geneva-based non-profit organisation that works to promote greater sustainability in cotton production around the world.
It said it would aim to increase this to 40% in 2015 and to source 100% sustainable cotton by the end of 2018.
