Textile chemicals manufacturer DyStar has launched a new black dye that it says is compliant with all restricted substance lists and with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, while remaining free of p-chloroaniline (PCA) and other regulatory-controlled amines.

The new product, Levafix ECO Black, is based on new chemistry, DyStar said at the time of the launch and is also free of heavy metals. It said it will continue to develop further Levafix dyes with similar properties in the coming months to offer a complete range to its customers.
