Oeko-Tex Association updates Standard 100 rules

The International Oeko-Tex Association has published updated test criteria for product certification in accordance with its Standard 100.

The regulations come into force on 1 April 2016, following a three-month transition period.
Changes were made to: perfluorinated compounds, organotin compounds, softeners/phthalates, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, chlorinated benzenes and toluenes, colourants classified as carcinogenic and which are thus prohibited, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, alkylphenols and alkylphenol ethoxylates as well as flame-retardant substances

To find out more about the updates, the Swiss group will host webinars in German and English on 3 February 2016.
