Oeko-Tex recognition for Archroma powder additive

Specialist textile chemicals producer Archroma has announced that its halogen-free flame-retardant powder coating additive, Pekoflam HFC, has been officially recognised as a certified Oeko-Tex product. The Swiss company said this is the first time a powder additive has been listed for coating applications.

Pekoflam HFC will support textile producers and protective clothing manufacturers’ efforts to achieve both Oeko-Tex 100 compliance and effective fire protection for their finished goods, Archroma added.

Pekoflam HFC p is an organic phosphorous-nitrogen compound with a high level of performance on synthetic materials, including polyamide fibres and blends.
