REI announces new stores for Ohio and Pennsylvania
03/07/2015
Working as a co-operative, REI invites consumers to become members to be able to shop at its stores. These new facilities will be the fourth store REI has in each of the two states. In the case of Cleveland, the organisation said the city had a high level of REI members already, although no store of its own. Until now, Cleveland members have had to shop at other REI locations in Ohio: one in Cincinatti and two in the Columbus area.
REI’s vice-president for retail, Greg Medlyn, said on making the announcement that continued growth for REI in Ohio and Pennsylvania is a testament “to the active outdoor lifestyle of both communities”.
