Shanghai fair to include new high-performance activewear fabrics zone

This October, for the first time, the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics fair will have a new zone dedicated to fabrics for the high-performance activewear market.

Companies that have confirmed they will participate in the zone already include Nilit, Nylstar, Toyobo and Unifi. There will also be a Korea Chemical Fibres Association pavilion, which will include member companies such as Huvis, Hyosung and Toray Chemical Korea.

Organiser, Messe Frankfurt, has said it is expecting more than 70,000 trade buyers from around 90 countries at the fair this year. It will take place in Shanghai from October 13-15.
